Bible Question: How do the. Writer of the scripture attribute their words to God in Deuteronomy 28:1-2 |
Bible Answer: Deut 28:1 The nation of Israel was God's chosen nation. Because of this they were given laws and commands by which to follow, thereby obeying his voice. If they did so to the best of their efforts and in accord with his standards not their own they would be placed high above the other nations of whom served pagan gods. These standards protected them and was superior because it came from the Creator himself they enjoyed his favor and blessings as verse 2 said. You can read throughout the next 3-5 books in the Bible that show both the reward and consequences depending on what the nation chose to do. |
