NASB | Deuteronomy 23:18 "You shall not bring the hire of a harlot or the wages of a dog into the house of the LORD your God for any votive offering, for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Deuteronomy 23:18 "You shall not bring the wages of a prostitute or the price of a dog [that is, a male prostitute] into the house of the LORD your God as payment for any vow, for both of these [the gift and the giver] are utterly repulsive to the LORD your God. |
Bible Question (short): Is it sin to sell dogs? |
Question (full): I read somewhere in the Bible about the price of a dog is an abomination to God. But I don't remember where that scripture is. I use to raise and sell puppies of pedigrees. Was I committting a sin by doing this? |
