Bible Question: What does the verse in Deuteronomy mean about women wearing that which pertaineth to a man (sorry I have forgotten the verse. It is a controversial issue in my country. |
Bible Answer: (Deu 22:5 ESV) "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God. My understanding of this verse it outlaws the practice of transvestism. (Fancy word for cross dressing or trying to appear as one of the opposite sex.) |
