Bible Question: Dear Forum,
Have any of you seen the recent Full-Page add taken out by the Unification Church? We had it in our local paper (Seattle Times) in the second section of last Sunday, July 7th. I assume it was also in most major newspapers.

The add was a truly "bizarre" compilation of "spiritual" connections with all of the leaders of the 5 major religions (including Christianity) endorsing the (Un) Rev. Moon.

Our Pastor had been asked to meet with a group of women who had only recently attended(or maybe infiltrated) our church this past Winter. After attending for a period of 2-3 weeks, they asked to meet with the Pastor under the guise of supporting Family values, etc. It didn't take long for our Pastor to determine that they were a front for the "Moonies" and he summarily dismissed them. He told me of another pastor friend in SW Washington that had a similar experience recently.

Has anyone had this happen in their church or know of its' prevalence?

Bible Answer: BradK: When (I refuse to calle him Rev.)Moon First came to the USA he used very simular tactics. EVERY pastor in the country received a VCR tape and a lot of literature! There were many meetings all over the country! This antiChrist will continue these scams to his dying day. The sad thing is weak unknowledgeable baby, God seekers are plucked like seed on the ground, like ravens tare at the flesh of dead aminals. This movement should encourage every Christian to be more persistant in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ! Thank you for sharing this information.
