NASB | Deuteronomy 15:9 "Beware that there is no base thought in your heart, saying, 'The seventh year, the year of remission, is near,' and your eye is hostile toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he may cry to the LORD against you, and it will be a sin in you. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Deuteronomy 15:9 "Beware that there is no wicked thought in your heart, saying, 'The seventh year, the year of release (remission, pardon), is approaching,' and your eye is hostile (unsympathetic) toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing [since he would not have to repay you]; for he may cry out to the LORD against you, and it will become a sin for you. |
Bible Question (short): Should us christians feed a hungry non c |
Question (full): I am a Christian and I believe that if a friend or strainger is hungry or begging for food on the street corner - we as Christian need to give them something to eat - that hungry person is most likely a NON_CHRISTIAN _ do you believe we should feed him or does God only want us to feed Christians? Can you show me a specific Bible-verse? thank you kindly :)) |
