Bible Question: What about Deut 15....debt cancelation? Is this for today. Example, say a person is 29 years old, is this his debt cancelation year? |
Bible Answer: Hello eagle11 I think debt cancellation would be great for the U.S. economy, but I'm sure the financial lenders would lobby against it. If a country's gevernment decided to enact such law, it would be for today. This cannot be brought over from the Law simply because we wish it. Debt cancellation did not depend on age. It was according to the people's calendar--every 7th year. Steve |
