Bible Note: What? Bows... I've noticed that you don't seem to want to explain yourself. Which in itself is telling... This is a Study Bible Forum... not a Study Occult Forum... Citing a foreign horse and tying that to a Psalm does not constitute Bible Study. That is sheer mysticism. Bows, we affirm the authority of Scripture, not the authority of dreams or other kinds of hocus pocus. You're leaving this poor man with the impression that his dreams actually have some kind of authority in his life. By doing so, you have denigrated the authority of the scripture. Furthermore, you have even advised him that he's done enough study of the Word, but now has to go off and do something in order to attain the peace of the Holy Spirit. Advice can be good, but just because it is good, doesn't mean that it is rooted in the right authority. Please keep your feet on the grounds of the Word of God. These flights into mysticism are -- as Steve Brown is wont to say -- from the pit and smell like smoke. In Him, Doc |
