Bible Question:
I'm new to this forum so if this question has been asked Im sorry I'm not familiar with these forums so forgive me.I hope my question isn't inappropiate. Is there any where in the bible that it talks about the different stages of life such as childhood, the preteen years/puberty and God's views on these stages and how to deal with the different pressures of growing up? |
Bible Answer: The Bible gives serveral references on how we are to raise our children through the stages of youth. http://www.geocities.com/ambassadors4christ/family/sfparenting.html There are several really good Christian online resources that deal with the pressures that our children are faced with daily, offering Biblical solutions and references. One of my personal favorites is Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the family. I listen to the radio program whenever possible. There are some great articles with Bible references on their "Focus on Your Child" website! http://www.focusonyourchild.com/ All you and your child need, is truly in Christ... I know you will find it, beacause you diligently seek it:) God Bless you! -khuck PS Forgive me if I make an erroneous assumption that you are a parent. These Dobson resources are pertinent to youth who may seek solutions to todays problems. http://www.briomag.com/ http://www.family.org/teenguys/breakmag/ http://www.family.org/lote/lotelive/ |
