Bible Note: Hi Searcher, Thank you for the nice welcome. I am so happy to have found this place. How wonderful that people want to know more about our Lord! John 14:17 - Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not. neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,and shall be in you. When we receive the Holy Ghost, He comes to dwell in us. Therefore, when we pray in the Spirit, the Spirit prays through us. At least it seems that way to me. I am no expert by any means, I am just thankful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I can tell you from personal experience, that many times when I don't know what to do, I can go to prayer. When I pray until I am out of the way and the Holy Ghost takes over, God gives that divine direction, or that divine peace that lets me know that even though my circumstances may not be different at that moment, they will be. You can go to prayer troubled, and arise from prayer with peace, because the Holy Ghost prays according to the perfect will of God. There is always peace in God's will. Even if our natural circumstances don't look any different. The change starts within us, and then works its' way to the circumstances around us. Am I babbling? I just love it that we can pray our way to victory over every situation because we can "pray in the Spirit!" God Bless You! |
