Bible Question: What really means "the evil day"? Is it sometimes we are reciving God's blessings, sometimes not? Sometimes we confront tentations and we want to do bad things? Is it specific actions or times of the influency of the evil? It looks like satan has especific "day". |

Cross reference some othe passages (Gal 1:4, Eph 5:16). It is the current day, when Paul was writing and today. You ask ... Is it sometimes we are reciving God's blessings, sometimes not? ... There is a misconception that God's blessings is based on OUR behavior. God does provide sun and rain to both the good and evil (Matt 5:45). If we are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, we are blessed, and should rejoice and be glad (Matt 5:11-12) ... the opposite of what the world and "Health and Wealth" would say.
