Bible Question: Why can't we teach inteligent design in school? The courts allow evolution to be taught but not inteligence, This proves that we really don't have a free country. It may be the best but they still dictate to us what they want us the belive. Read the latest case in Penn. |
Bible Answer: One reason, is due to activist judges, who mis-interpret the constitution and make laws from the bench of the supreme court, instead of passing it through congress the way the law is supposed to be made. as a result, there are actually teachers saying that the phrase, "wall of seperation between church and state" is in the Constitution, when actually it was in a letter from Thomas Jefferson. And, it was in defense of the free exercise of religion, -not prohibiting it. Another reason, and likely connected to those judges, is the verse above, and it is, the prince of this world, our enemy satan. There recently was a public school in northern Wisconsin that I heard of that was going to be succesful in offering a class on creationism, or intelligent design as an alternative theory to evolution. It was after several failed attemts by other schools around the nation, but I do not know how it turned out. For your information, I have included the following from Liberty Council, who gives free legal advise and court appearances in order to defend our rights as Christians in this country: "Teachers have a lot more liberty than you think to teach creation and to teach religious and Christian influences.
