Bible Question: That's interesting that Satan is the ruler of the kingdom of the air - it certainly appears that way when you comtemplate what's happening in the world. Would Satan also be the god of this world in 2 Cor. 4:4? Thank you. |
Bible Answer: Your welcome I would have to say yes, right now since we sinned and allowed sin into the world it allows Satan to have free reign over it for a season. God is unlimatly in control but since we have free will and we choose sin it allows footholds that normally would not exsist. when God is used and it is lowercase god it is never talking about the one true God it is always talking about something that we as sinners exalt higher than the one true God or in this case the bible is talking about satan and here is the same verse with the new living translation, "4Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God." |
