Bible Question: I was wondering when I pray, if I'm supposed to pray to Jesus or God or if it matters? I know we're supposed to give thanks and praise before getting into our request or issue, but am I to go through Jesus always when I pray, or can I also pray directly to God? |
Bible Answer: You are praying to God Matt6:6, but our mediator is Jesus Christ 1Tim2:5, think of our Lord as an operator that patches you to The Father, that's why you pray in Jesus's name, because by praying in His name you admitt He is the Son of God and what He did, these next text also tell you to pray in Jesus's name: John14:13, 15:16 16:23, 1John 5:14-15 and Coloss3:17. Hope this answers your question |
