Bible Question: One family member of mine I feel strongly wants me to be a Baptist, but my heart and soul is walking in the path of Pentecostal. Is there a big difference between the two, and will it hurt that family member? |
Bible Answer: hello ddethdan, Welcome. There are many different doctrines of faith. One of the problems with that is, differences of opinion, and that sometimes causes division, division is bad. If I were you my new Christian friend, I would find a none denominational Bible teaching, Christ centered Church. Eph 4:2-6 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of Peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. No mater what you chose, may God the Holy Spirit lead you in all things. Please, read your Bible! God Bless. John |
