Bible Question:
In very recent notes, words with very sharp doubbled edges, have pierced the names of men who would have done much for defending Christianity. The issue of cults has been a steady diet for too long. I have seen Kalos, and others mocked, and belittled. I do not find this in keeping with the Forum's guide. When very sensitive issues come up, do we always have to answer? Perhaps tring to see who the pesron is, and their back ground might be in order. Consider where this persons tallent might be best used, and this could help this infatic person. I see these notes often lead to harsh words, and even refusing to answer that person any more. I do not find this to be a mature christians attutide. I would welcome any suggestions, or thoughts. agape justme |
Bible Answer: Hi JustMe. This is my first post, and yours happened to be the first I read which I felt solicited my thoughts, or questions, however they may wind up. Being relatively familiar with the Word, I understand your thoughts. I can't help but to wonder though; Should one avoid a "sensitive issue" just because it is that? Rather, when Christians do not agree, should we not simply learn to agree to disagree and put the fleshly inclinations aside? Harsh words only breed more of the same. I try to make each day, each action and reaction, a learning experience. This is why I call myself NYP. "Not Yet Perfect." I can hardly wait until I am perfect... NYP |
