Subject: How do you share Jesus with others? |
Bible Note: I disagree the Great Commission did not contain any qualifiers as to who it was aimed at. Therefore it included all that claim to follow Christ. That said I do believe some are evangelist in that they openly and frequently share God with anyone that will listen. However there are others that make disciples simply by their life style, showing love, grace and moderation in all things. Then there are some that will be used infrequently or unexpectedly but will have great effect when they do. Some will till the soil, some will plant and some will water and feed the seed and others will harvest. No we are not all thumbs but we are all part of the body and the body's commission is to go make disciples. I agree correct Bible doctrine is important and sadly too many have never gotten that foundation into their lives. Far too many are still content to be feed the milk of the word instead of the meat. Those that seem content on the milk of the word I question their salvation. It is as if they don't want to go to eternal damnation but they don't want to disrupt their lives living for Christ. Matthew 22:11-14 (NASB) 11 "But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, 12 and he *said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' And the man was speechless. 13 "Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 14 "For many are called, but few are chosen." |
