AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace [God's remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. Bible Question:
Hello, Kingsknight; You are right about faith being a gift of God. And It is no doubt true that many non-Christians, many who call themselves Christians but are not, and perhaps many authentic Christians don't understand that. But I am curious about the "SO-CALLED CHRISTIANS" you refer to. Who are they? I assume they're not people who have a saving faith in Christ but may have missed this point of doctrine. Please enlighten me. Thanks. Peace and grace, Steve |
Bible Answer: Dear Steve The so called Christians you are asking about are those people who have by faith accepted Christ as their Savior and have had their sins forgiven. If you are asking this question because you do not know Jesus as your Savior I would like to introduce you to my Lord and Savior. He will give you the gift of salvation if you will pray the sinners prayer and ask Jesus to come into your heart. According to Romans 10-9-10 and John 3:16. Jesus would like to save you from your sins and give you the gift of eternal life so that you would not have to face eternity without Him. I hopr that this answers your question. I will be praying for you in the days to come your friend Pastor Tom echols. |
