Bible Question:
Thanks lionhart. I have accepted Christ as lord, and Savior, i know that i am a new creature in Christ, and that i am saved, i am preparing my self for when he returns. But my husband somewhat discourages me when he tells me that i need to preach the gospel to be saved, and i believe he means going door to door as he does. But what i've learned is that you can preach the gospel anywhere, it doesn't have to be door to door. God will open doors for us, to tell people about Christ. Is that correct? And i feel bad when he's out servicing going door to door, and i'm at home sitting... am i doing wrong? What does God require of me? Thanks. Julia |
Bible Answer: Julia, I don't know that your doing anything wrong. Look at 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:15-17. Spend time in God's Word, make it your own. Read the Gospels and look at Jesus life, He's the greatest role model any of us will ever have. What does God require of you? Read through 1 John. It really goes to the heart of what's troubling you. You are God's child no matter what anyone tells you. Love God and love those he puts in your life. In Him, lionheart |
