AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Bible Question: god owes us salvation because we have eaarned it by our works? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Eph 2:8-10, Php 2:12-13 ... CMOORE, greetings. God owes us nothing. We work out our salvation, because we are saved which God prepared for us to do. It is like getting a heart transplant. We need it, even ask for it ... but someone has to die for us to get their heart. We don't pay, nor do we deserve it. (Yes, we may have to pay for the operation, but the heart is a gift). After we get the heart, our lives are changed. We need to exercise the heart for it to work, for us to continue to live.
