AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Bible Question (short): Discovering the will of God |
Question (full): Thanks for your answer. I understand that all scripture is for my instruction but I guess my question is this - I hear people I admire teach that prayer should be a two way coversation with God, as though God gives them specific direction. I hear others refer to seeking the will of God in this or that. I don't believe that I have ever had this kind of communication from God. Does this indicate that I am missing something or that I am not in His will? Does He have a particular intent for my life which I must somehow discover? |
