AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above--spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Bible Question: How do I know my purpose in life |
Bible Answer: You can know your purpose in life by asking the One who created you. Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? If you have, are you maintaining a close relationship with Him, through prayer, worship and Bible study? Yes, the Lord God of the heavens and earth created you for a specific purpose. Our primary purpose for living is to be reconciled to the Father through His Son (Jesus Christ). Then we must establish relationship with the Lord (i.e., get to know who He is), through prayer, worship and Bible study. The Lord has created specific "works" for each of us to do, which He reveals to each of us in His time. In short, if you want to know your purpose: (1) commit your life to the Lord Jesus Christ; (2) maintain a close relationship with Him; and (3) ask Him to reveal to you what "works" He created you for. God bless you! |
