Bible Question:
Reading6:52-59 to drink his blood and to eat his flesh.this means to me,his blood gives eternal life and his flesh is true spirit. Also reading 6:66-66 and John7:37-39 I don't know what given life is and quickened. I think that given life is to drink his blood and to eat his flesh. Quickened by the Holy Spirit means that you don't believe in the words of Jesus and his Father. Hope I'm understanding. Sometime I understand but it's hard to put into words. I'm going back to reading my verses. |
Bible Answer: Hi sweet, I would encourage you to at least think capital letters when you write about Him. For we do not drink a man's blood but we drink the blood of the Lamb. Ephesians 1:7, "In Him/ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which (He) lavished upon us." Colossians 1:14, NKJ, "in whom/ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible (God), the first-born over all creation." John 6:52, "The Jews therefore began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this *Man/ give us His flesh to eat?" John 1:29, "The next day he saw Jesus/ coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb..." Yes, His flesh is true spirit; I would agree. From the heart, Ray |
