Bible Question:
So, Robert what is(are) the life application(s) in these truths. when I read this scripture I read it over and over. It always feels as if there is a deeper meaning/significance that is just beyond my grasp. Can you go continue with your thoughts? Of course I am studying/meditating/praying on this text. Thanks for responding. |
Bible Answer: Hello La Mirl, If you read further on in this chapte, down to say verse 13, you will see the blessings that Paul is talking about. In short we have been: Chosen in verse 4, predestined in verse 5, acceptance with God through Jesus in verse 6, Remission of sins, and redemption through the blood of Jesus in verse 7, the riches of His grace, which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight in verse 8, made known to us the mystery of his will in verse 9, the summing up of all things in Christ in verse 10, Also obtained an inheritance(heaven) in verse 11, sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise in verse 13 These are the spiritual blessings he's talking about. Study, pray, and meditate on those verses and always remember, it's all for the Glory of God. Love in Christ!! Barry |
