AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 1:13 In Him, you also, when you heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation, and [as a result] believed in Him, were stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit [the One promised by Christ] as owned and protected [by God]. [John 7:39; Acts 2:33] |
Bible Question: Hi, Does every believer receive the Holy Spirit? |
Bible Answer: Yes and this is seen also in Eph 4:30 Romans 8:11. Act 2:37,38. That said as a Pentecostal I believe there is more for us, when we learn to yield our will and allow the Holy Spirit to move through us. I believe one of the first signs of this yieldedness is the speaking in tongues that we see at the day of Pentecost. But if you do not speak in tongues it does not mean you are not saved. Just that you have not fully yielded yourself the Holy Spirit that dwells within you from salavation. |
