Bible Question:
Who is "He", Christ or God? In verse 7 it leads me to believe that Christ is "He" in this section. However, in this verse "He" consumates these things in Christ. |
Bible Answer: Christ means;"ANOITED ONE" make no mistake about it Jesus Christ is God. As Christ the Son "Jesus" came to earth to redeem men unto Himself. Eph. 1:10 is speaken of God the Father and Son. If you go back to Ps. 2:4-8; this is the Father making a covenant with the Son. In verse 8 the Father promises the Son the world as an inheritance. The gathering together in Christ both which in heaven and which are in earth "Eph. 1:10" is that inheritance. Jesus as the Son of God was obedient to the Father and came to died for our sins "Phil. 2:6-8." God the Father being pleased with the Son gathers all things in Him "Dan. 2:4." |
