Bible Question:
hi, in the beginning God made one MAN[Adam].I hope that Adam had a lighter skin almost like the one of Jesus. How did it happen that we now have so many colours? Is there any particular race which resembles God than others? The answer to this question will help me to help others.thanx |
Bible Answer: Aurrance, firstly, how did you come to conclude that the Incarnate Christ had "a lighter skin"? Skin color has absolutely no spiritual significance. God is Spirit; hence, His "skin color" is a moot issue. The kind of "race" that has a great deal of significance and is worthy of our time: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" [2 Tim.4:7 NKJV] ... and ... "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." [Heb.12:1 NKJV] This is the only "race" issue about which the Christian should be concerned. --Hank |
