NASB | Galatians 6:14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 6:14 But far be it from me to boast [in anything or anyone], except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. |
Subject: The cross of Jesus:10. The world:0 |
Bible Note: This verse is significant, as to Paul's heart for the world. It had no hold on him, and he had nothing in it of value. However, he qualifies that to a married man, in that he should provide for his wife and family, the necessities of the world, but recognizing that it is God who will supply them. We need not go after them as do those who know not our Savior. Give me a heart like Paul's, on the world. Amen. |
