You wrote, "Could Christians be accused of being 'looney?'" The word "could" implies that your question is meant to ask if there might is a reason by which the epithet might be applied to believers. Since Christians, by God's grace, are more firmly rooted in reality than the rest of humanity, then I'd think not.
