Bible Question:
I've been listening to a couple messages by Ray Comfort - Hell's Best Kept Secret and True and False Conversion. Has anyone heard of brother Ray and would you recommend his teachings? www.livingwaters.com |
Bible Answer: Hi, cuhigher... I think very highly of Ray Comfort. I'd commend his writings and teachings to everyone as solidly rooted in the Scriptures. Much of what Comfort says is reminiscent of Martin Luther's Law and Gospel teachings. The balm of the Gospel is only to be applied after the Law has done its work (e.g., Matthew 19:16-26). By the way, probably the best Gospel "tract" I've ever encountered is the following: http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl/ To find it, I had to search all the way to the other side of the planet! :-) Let me know what you think of it.
