Bible Question: Hebrews 13:2 warns us that we should not forget to entertain strangers, for doing so some people have entertained angels. How is this so if God now speaks to us through his Word. Can we expect angels to appear at the door? |
Bible Answer: Hebrews 13:2 strangers may be either humans or angels. the writer here encourages hospitality by recalling the experiences of Abraham and Sarah (Gen 18:1-15) and of Lot(Gen 19:1-13) angels visited them in human form. |
