AMPLIFIED 2015 | Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle (not commissioned and sent from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ--the Messiah--and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead), |
Bible Question: What does Galatians 1:1-2 mean |
Bible Answer: I am not entirely sure which part specifically you are having trouble understanding, but Paul(the author) is stating his credentials (that is, what his position is). To my understanding he is saying, 'its not because of me or any other man that im an apostle, but its because Jesus apointed me this.' The second verse, 'and all the brothers with me...' is basically saying that this letter and message are from all Christian brothers. Hope this helps... |
