Bible Question:
How would this pertain toward working in a business startup with people of whom I do not know all of them, but the main person I know is not saved? I would be joining them in a company building software where I would be playing a vital part in the success or failure of ths software? It's not that the business we are running has any wrong-doing in the sight of God, but that I would be essentially working with non-christians as a similar role as a partner in the company. On one hand I feel God could use me by my example and the potential to witness. On the other, I would be working with non-christians. I have a strong faith and always have, but have had question as to whether taking this would be non-biblical and disobedience toward God. Thoughts... |
Bible Answer: Remember our Savior...He followed the call to be a Witness of God's grace and mercy. He sought fellowship, chose disciples, healed the outcast, preached to the fallen. He did all those things that did not necessarily align with the Jewish beliefs and understanding of their sriptures. The choice is rather clear: 1. Be a follower of Jesus Christ 2. Witness to the ones that need a Savior 3. Cling to the Cross and seek Jesus in all you do. 4. Be an example of Christ's love and saving grace. I believe as long as you hold on to your values and are willing to be a tool in Christ you have nothing to worry about. Imagine if Jesus would have only sought the Jews and did not have Gentiles in his plans? We'd be seriously lost. Be a witness! Don't hide from the world! |
