Bible Question: I AM CONFUSED ABOUT TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK. WHEN I KNOW SOMEONE HAS WRONGED, CHEATED, STOLEN, ECT. FROM ME AM I JUST SUPPOSED TO LET IT GO ON AND NOT SAY A WORD. EVEN WHEN MY CHARACTER IS BEING GOSSIPED ABOUT. OR I AM SAID TO BE A LIAR, FOR INSTSNCE THE MAN WHO OWN THE PROPERTY NEXT DOOR HAS BUILT ON MY LAND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I FIRMLY BELIEVE HE PLANNED ON USING SOME OF MY PROPERTY FROM THE START. He was short on the required footage. ..for reasons I can not be sure of .. though i think it might be illegal paperwork .. he was given the ok to build. THE BUILDINGS ARE UP... AS ONE OF THE LAST CONSTRUCTION ACTS, AN ASPHALT DRIVWAY TAKES PART OF MY LAND. nOW THAT THE BUILDING IS COMPLETE FORM START TO FINISH I AM LEFT HOLDING THE BAG AS THE ONE WHO HAS TO PROVE HIS THIEVERY. I AM HELD RESPONSABLE TO HIRE EXPERTS AND PROVE IN COURT WHAT HE TOOK WAS MINE. THE PROOF I NEED WILL COST AROUND 5000 TO GET STARTED AND I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY. I ABSOULTLY KNOW I AM CORRECT ABOUT WHERE MY PROPERTY PROPERTY LINE IS. THAT LINE IS NOW UNDER A DRIVWAY LEADING TO 2 RENTAL UNITS, ..HE DOES NOT LIVE NEXT DOOR .. AM I JUST SUPPOSED TO LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS? PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SCRIPTURE AND SOME EVERY DAY REGULAR WORDS THAT I WONT BE CONFUSED AS TO WHAT THEY MEAN. SOMETIMES WHEN I ASK A QUESTION, I AM MORE CONFUSED TRYING TO RELATE THE BIBLE'S WORDS TO MY DAY AND AGE. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Mamametal, Perhaps I can provide an answer to your personal circumstances by asking if your aspirations are centered on pleasing God (2 Cor. 5:9; Ephesians 5:10) in everything that you do and say in the situation that you are in. As Christians, we should be in the habit of seeking to please God more and more (1 Thess. 4:1) in our walk with Him each day (Luke 9:23). If we truly take 1 Cor. 10:24 literally and apply it to ourselves ("Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being" NKJV), then our focus becomes less and less centered on self and more and more centered on what God wants, so that we can show mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 9:9) in much the same way that God has shown us, even though we do not deserve it. By exhibiting this mercy and forgiveness towards others, we can show our genuine quality as Christians so that we may be able to shine the light of Christ to those who genuinely need Him. Blessings to you, Makarios |
