AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. |
Subject: What change can we expect? |
Bible Note: It does seem that one of the changes we experience is that we become more judgmental. 1 Corinthians 2:14, 15 says: "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things". (I am sure that someone will tell us the difference between "judging all things" and being judgmental). I am frankly not sure what "philosophical" means any more but I am glad you were able to give an answer in spite your detecting that in the question. I hope others can as well. |
