Bible Question:
what if a church permanently excommunicates you and will never ever take you back again? i was excommunicated twelve years ago, and they said that i may never ever contact them again forever. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, vnct blzn, and welcome to the SBF, 1 Corinthians 5 is a condemnation of a church not excommunicating someone. He did repent, and was forgiven by the Lord, the apostle and the Corinthian church (2 Co 2:1-11). I/We don't know your situation, nor the by laws of church that excommunicated you, even that one that welcomed you. It is not for us to judge you or the churches. I sense there is an issue about all this, so I suggest you go to wise Christian counsel, that is not a aprt of either church and let them know your heart. May the Lord grant you and all peace in your heart, with each other and most of all God, Searcher |
