AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 12:7 Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me--to keep me from exalting myself! [Job 2:6] |
Bible Question: does this mean that God is putting you through tests and making you stronger for what he has planned for you? how do you know when he is done with the process can it take a long long time... |
Bible Answer: not necessarily testing , but experience, we sometimes have to fall before we learn how to get up, but i think the message here is that we must stay humble, otherwise satan will torment you, in short, you will live in torment if you are not humble, stay grounded, even as you are growing greatly and mightily in the name of Jesus |
