AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 12:7 Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me--to keep me from exalting myself! Bible Question: when god had told you through prophetic that you have to go through a process in your life what does he mean and how long will it take? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Smurfrenee! James says that we should "count it all joy when we face various trials, for the testing of our faith produces steadfastness" (James 1:2) [paraphrased from ESV] As Paul was no stranger to those trials (Acts 20:19), not even he knew how long it would take, and it also took him some time to know what it was that the Lord was trying to show him (2 Cor. 12:7). I am convinced that the Lord will show us what He is doing when we have patience with Him. Blessings to you, Makarios |
