He was in a Philippian jail cell with Silas (Acts 16:23-40) His road to Rome started with being a prisoner in - Jerusalem (Acts 23:16 (ref vs 18)- 30) ... - the trip to Caesarea (vv 31-32) - Caesarea (23:33-26:32) - the trip to Rome (27:1-28:15) - Rome (28:16-31) But according to this verse (2 Cor 11:23), there were other imprisonments.
