Bible Question: If God sees two individuals who have sex as married, is it sinful if for your whole life you only have sex with one person? Once you sleep with them, you are married to them, and do not commit adultry. Is sex God's definition of marriage, or do you have to perform the typical ceremonies? |
Bible Answer: Sex is a part of marriage, not the other way around. You must be married in order to have sex. I would say that, yes, you do need to perform the marriage ceremony in order to be married. Sex does not make you married in God's eyes. Being married makes you married in God's eyes. Sex outside of marriage in wrong, whether it is with one person or 1,000 persons. Janae |
