Bible Note: EdB, As I previously posted: I responded to Doc, on my issue. Teaching or leading in the Word, cannot be done biblically apart from the love of God. We cannot remove God's Love from Truth, nor can we remove God's Truth from His Love. It is even hard for me to do this! I cry out to Him for help in this area, but I do know one thing- Eph. 4:15 "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ." (NIV) "Rather, let our lives lovingly [a]express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." (AMP) Love for God first through Jesus, His Son and the indwelling Holy Spirit, and next for our fellow man is our foundation, and this is totally biblical and found all throughout the Word. |
