AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 6:9 ¶ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [by perversion], nor those who participate in homosexuality, |
Bible Question: I am a new believer and am unclear on what is considered appropriate sex with your spouse. Is there any indication in the bible on if anal sex is forbidden. I know that the bible is clear on the homosexual, but what about in marriage? |
Bible Answer: My husband and I have been married for 21 years, and as fas as we're concerned, God designed that part of the body for a totally different purpose. I don't think you will actually find the answer written in the Bible, and likewise, the Bible doesn't tell you everything about life, eg. what will happen if you stick your finger in a power point, or what will happen if you lie down under a moving elephant. A lot of things in life need a 'commonsense' approach, or even better, a bit of thought beforehand. Most actions in life have consequences in life, some good, some bad. Also, as a general rule, if something is right, you'll know in your heart it's right. If you have doubts about something, it's usually wrong, so I wouldn't do it. |
