Bible Question: I have a question regarding oral sex. Is this biblically wrong? I can't exactly find anything in the bible that supports that it is. My friend thought it was, but cannot come up with anything either. I know it talks about sexual immorality but I don't feel like that is sex. I am not talking about randomly going around with guys either...more specifically my serious boyfriend who I feel I will be married to. I am 22 years old. Do you have any support either way? |
Bible Answer: Jessica21, What complicated your question is the fact that you are not married. I believe, everybody in this forum will tell you, sex ( whatever modifying word you put in front of it ) outside marriage is Biblically wrong. No argument. However, after marriage, sex is definitely allowed. Scriptural rules of engagement? Nothing. Some mistake culture and tradition as rules but they are not. Others take personal preference while the rest take what their hearts tell them. Maybe because of age or cultural differences, my belief may not be applicable to you, but let me share it with you still. Ephesians 5:25-27 "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or "ANY SUCH THING "; but that she would be HOLY AND BLAMELESS".
