Bible Question:
can a believer lose his salvation? |
Bible Answer: Greetings, I don't believe you can lose your salvation if you're a believer. The only place that gives a sin unto death is not something that would be committed by a believer. Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. I believe you can lose your reward. As Paul stated: 1Co 5:5 To deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. If you're a true born-again believer, you don't need to worry about it anyway - you're covered with the blood of Jesus. Blessings Cheri |
