Bible Question:
Does anyone know a bible reference for a verse that talks about not being concerned with man's opinion. Instead, only be concerned with what the Lord thinks of you. Something along those lines. If you might know what I'm looking for, I'd really appreciate a reply. Thank you so very much! |
Bible Answer: What about me? Have I been faithful? Well, it matters very little what you or anyone else thinks. I don't even trust my own judgment on this point. My conscience is clear, but that isn't what matters. It is the Lord himself who will examine me and decide. 1 Cor. 4:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT) 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 :: Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) It is of little importance that I should be evaluated by you or by a human court. In fact, I don't even evaluate myself. For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. The One who evaluates me is the Lord. |
