Bible Question:
Hello, I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord but, if we are with God then why do we need to be resurrected with the old body if we are going to have a new body? |
Bible Answer: Towanda greetings, The resuurrection is all part of Gods miraculous plan for us and our salvation. When Jesus comes back for His church a number of things will happen and they will happen quickly. (1Cor15:51-54) paints the perfect picture of what takes place when God gets us up.That old body wont be old anymore. It'll be a new one.Check this out ( 1Jn 3:2,3) tells us that what we will be has not yet been made known, when Jesus does come back it says we will be like him and that we shall see him as he is. Pretty incredible stuff wouldnt you say. In Christ, lionheart |
