Bible Question: Can a woman speak to the congregation of God’s people or the assembly of saints and still be in the order ness of God; in accordance to this scripture 1 cor.14:34. Is there any biblical example of women addressing the church / congregation with the power of the Holy Ghost or as directed by God. |
Bible Answer: Hi, Edd... In my humble opinion, if a woman is right with God in all areas of her life (including her relationship to her family), and she is teaching sound doctrine from Scripture, and her pastor is present -- having fully authorized her teaching and the conteent of her teaching -- then I would tend to say yes. However, I can only support that from the general thrust of the Word of God, not any specific passage. I also fully admit that I might be wrong! :-) In Him, Doc |
