NASB | 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. |
Bible Question:
In Heaven will family members know each other? |
Bible Answer: Greetings boyceowenby and welcome to the forum. I realize that you have just picked out a name to go by on the forum but someplace in a hall of legal records you are registered or listed by the name of, what ever you are know by; lets say, Shelby Boyce or something like that, what ever it is your name might be. Now when the resurrection takes place and all of the true believers in Jesus are given new glorified, fantastic bodies that are designed to last forever, I, for a change, will be so good looking that nobody will know it’s actually me until they hear my name mentioned. 1 Cor. 13:12 (B) but then shall I know even as also I am known. That’s my take on this but don’t take it to the bank just yet because I still just know in part. Enjoy the forum, CDBJ |
