AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. |

Bible Note: Thanks Doc! You said "The more clearly we see God, the more clearly we see ourselves. Knowing your own heart isn't pleasant, but it reminds us moment by moment that we still need a Savior." You know Doc, saying it isn't pleasant is putting it mildly :) It can be down right disgusting at times don't you think? For me I even have to thank God for that. I find myself thanking Him for everything. Not just because I should be grateful, but because He shows me how everything leads me right back to Him. Just like you said, I'm constantly reminded how much I need Him. What's so awesome about it is that it's not just the bad times but the good as well. I find more and more that I need Him in all things. I know now that I always have but now I can see it. God is truly amazing! God bless you as well brother! |
