AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 13:1 ¶ If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God's love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. |
Bible Question: Just wanted to say that I think the church should stop blaming Marylin Manson for bad things. The church created Marylin Manson by throwing un-christian attitudes in his face. The church should lOVE Manson and welcome him back into the Christian community. |
Bible Answer: We are told to love our neighbor as ourselves. AMnson does not accomplish this. God loves MAnson, but he must first rid himself of his sinful ways before he can be accepted by the Christian community. We can offer gental persuasion, but can not force him to change his ways. As long as he chooses to live in sin we are commanded by God to remove him from among our midsts so as not to be tempted by his evil ways. He is welcome, if he will change his ways. |
