Bible Question:
Scripture ... 1 Corinthians 12 ................. jcsav, Here is another verse that shows we receive the Holy Spirit when we are saved. Do we have to do something after we are saved to be part of the body ... that is when the Spirit baptizes us, "one Spirit we were all baptized into one body" Searcher |
Bible Answer: That is not what the Scripture is saying. You can not see the Kingdom of God until you are born of the Water and the Spirit. It is not possible to be born before this. Unless you see a difference in born again and being saved. You receive the Holy Ghost when you repent and is Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. Just as Peter said. Why are you guys always looking for another way? When you obey this, no, there is nothing else to do, on your part. The Lord will fill you with the Holy Ghost (Spirit). If he do not, then you have not fully repented or for whatever reason he is waiting. |
